Cameras at the Olympics
So, I was watching the luge competition the other night. As I have no particular interest in the luge, I decided to count the cameras NBC used to cover this one event. It varied from luger to luger but the high count was 30 separate camera angles for one ride down the course. 30 hi-def cameras! In one competition! That’s crazytalk. I would love to know how many individual cameras NBC has working at the winter games. Does anybody know? Plus the fact that this is an all hi-def presentation begs the question of how much money they had to spend on cameras alone.
