SyncSpeed-You call that a Monitor?
SyncSpeed writes about a 20″ LCD monitor, and yes, it has great resolution, but come on, 20″?? If you need room to work with Photoshop and have all the menus open AND have Picture-in-picture so you can watch the latest episode of LOST, check out Winbooks 32″ widescreen WXGA monitor with built-in tuner. Yeah, you’d have to spyder this thing too to get accurate color, but you could have a bunch of windows open in Photoshop and use the full-size image instead of thumbnails to compare shots AND be watching TV in the corner! The best news? It’s only $899.99 at Microcenter… check it out here.
Two 20″-ers? Who needs that when you have a 32″ 16:9 widescreen! What you think, Sync?

Ha! They may be baby-steps, but at 32″ they’re impressive!

[...] My co-bloggers SyncSpeed and SlightlyOutOfFocus are bringing up a great topic, I just think they are a little off the mark. I must agree that a Dell 20IN LCD is nice, but it lacks for real estate, which is a premium when editing in photos in programs like Adobe Photoshop. The idea of using all that space provided by the 32IN WinBook LC32 is extremely appealing, but with a native resolution of only 1366 x 768 pixels you’ll be giving up a lot in the image resolution for all that extra room. I would also be concerned with the color range capabilities and accuracy of this mainly TV monitor when used as your primary display for photo editing. [...]
